Obama’s Latest Executive Action Will Make The Blue Blue, Kelly And The Judge On Mosby, And Gowdy On Race Baiting Police *Open Thread*

Yes, this is the All Blue Post beginning with the latest Executive Action by His Majesty, Barack Obama.

Yes, in Obama’s infinite wisdom, and perpetuating more myths about the police as well as taking away tools they may need, he has declared this as reported by Politico (via Townhall):

[…] The White House on Monday announced that bayonets, weaponized vehicles and grenade launchers will no longer be available to local police and that other equipment such as riot gear and other types of armored vehicles would be subject to a more onerous approval process.

The move came alongside the release of broader recommendations for “21st-Century Policing” and is part of the Obama administration’s response to a series of deaths of unarmed black men at the hands of police that has provoked a national debate about the relationship between police forces and the communities they serve.

A bit of an overstatement by Politico choosing to use the word, “series,” and to leave out that these “unarmed black men” were ALL engaged in activities that led directly to their demise. Everyone of them, but hey, that doesn’t fit the narrative, so shut up already.

But since they brought this up, would it surprise you to know that many of those “protesters” in Ferguson, the ones who perpetuated the lie of, “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot,” and much more, were PAID agitators? Well, actually, a lot of them aren’t getting paid yet, and they are pissed off about it, as BizPacReview reports:

Those “peaceful protesters” sure want to be paid.
Demonstrators demanding their just rewards for raising hell on the streets of Ferguson turned out in force last week for another demonstration to get money they said they were owed by the George Soros-funded activist group Missourians for Reform and Empowerment, according to Twitter postings collected by the conservative news aggregate site Weasel Zippers.

And things got a little noisy in MORE’s St. Louis office during the May 14 confrontation.

According to WZ, the white guy the demonstrators say they’ll “f*ck up” is Jeff Ordower, MORE’s founder and a guy with leftist credentials so impeccable he’s got a Huffington post bio that shows he’s not only a graduate of the AFL-CIO Institute and a former Service Employees International Union organizer, he’s also openly gay and an LGBT activist to boot. (Sorry, ladies.) […] (Click here to read the rest.)

Uh huh. That puts a little different spin on it, doesn’t it? And the very basis for actions like the one taken by the White House on Monday? I guess it WOULD if the White House and these other race-baiters actually gave a damn about facts, but again, that wouldn’t suit when the WH can use this as a way to restrict the Police Departments in this country even more.

On that point, the Executive Director of the Fraternal Order of Police is not at ALL happy about this latest move by the White House to hamstring those in Blue charged with protecting our streets. From Politico:

[…] “The FOP is the most aggressive law enforcement advocacy group in Washington, and we will be at our most aggressive in asserting the need for officer safety and officer rights in any police changes that are to be effected,” Pasco said.

He said in particular he objects to a measure that would require police departments to get permission from city governments to acquire certain equipment, including riot batons, helmets and shields, through federal programs.
“We need to only look back to Baltimore to see what happens when officers are sent out ill-equipped in a disturbance situation,” he said. “Because you don’t like the optics, you can’t send police officers out to be hurt or killed.” […] (Click here to read the rest.)

I can certainly understand Pasco’s concern there, especially when you have people in positions of power like those in Baltimore.

Which leads me to Megyn Kelly and Judge Napolitano weighing in on Obama’s Executive Action, as well as the actions of Marilyn Mosby, the Maryland Prosecutor demanding a gag order against the Defense attorneys for the Police Officers at which she threw the book:

I think I reached the conclusion that Mosby was a political hack WAY before the Judge did. Her lack of professionalism in her position and the broad race-baiting brush with which she has tainted the Baltimore police force has had a huge impact on morale AND on law enforcement there with murders on the rise. Now with Obama’s Proclamation denying them materials they need to do their jobs unless the management in their cities grants their request (and we can just imagine how that can play out in a city like Baltimore). (This Townhall article by Katie Pavlich referenced above also touches on Mosby’s attempt to silence the opposing side.)

It is a continuation of capitulating to the rioters, looters, and paid agitators while engaging in massive race-baiting to substantiate these kinds of actions. It was just such race-baiting at a hearing on Community Policing that prompted Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) to make this statement (h/t Western Journalism):

Go, Rep. Gowdy! ALL LIVES MATTER – all of them, whether white or black or brown or blue, all lives matter. Or they should.

And while the Democrats have chosen to focus on a very, very few people who lost their lives at the hands of the police, none of them innocent bystanders, I say again, how about the lives of all of the police officers that were killed in the line of duty? Where is the concern, the outrage, the marches, the voices from on high crying out for them??

Well, there are some people who are standing up for the lives in Blue – the families and friends of those who were lost, as this powerful video highlights (h/t Townhall):

We don’t hear enough of these voices, the families of those who lost their lives in service to their communities. We sure aren’t hearing it from this Administration, and Obama’s recent Executive Order sure doesn’t help.

At least that’s what I think. How about you? THis is an Open THread.

The left had better be very careful in their rush to tie the hands to the police to not only enforce the law but to protect themselves. Do any of you remember the horrific sights and sounds of the bank robbery in North Hollywood back in 1997 where the criminals were better armed than the policed and wandered around shooting everything in sight because of that?

Oh, wow – that is most definitely a good reminder to those who fail to learn lessons from history (and not too distant history at that). It just boggles my mind the way this Administration and Dems in general are evidencing such ire and disrespect for the very people who keep them safe.

Last night on Megyn Kelly’s show, they were discussing the rise of murders in Baltimore since Freddie Gray – 34 in all. Arthur Ayala made the point that there were only around 23 or 24 (can’t remember which) in NYC. The BIG difference is that Baltimore has 800,000 people, and NYC has 8.5 MILLION. That goes to show you how stifled the Baltimore police feel. And who pays for it? The same citizens who demeaned, berated, and attacked them, that’s who.

And you know what is coming next – those same people screaming and yelling abt a lack of police presence in their communities. Ugh.

    J. Christian Adams exposes “one” lunatic in the Civil Rights at the DOJ who just happens to be the head of the “Civil Rights Division”. Really scary that this racist POS is the “head” of anything let alone a division at the DOJ.

DOJ Official: Slavery to Blame for Riots in Ferguson and Baltimore

Vanita Gupta, head of the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, has told a lawyers group in Colorado that slavery and Jim Crow helped fuel the Ferguson and Baltimore riots.

The last few days have seen a number of fanciful stories with the Obama administration seemingly questioning the authority of local police. I’ve long maintained that the administration is nakedly seeking to federalize policing standards — but get rid of local police? No way, that sounds like something broadcast from a shortwave station in Austin, Texas.

But then up steps Vanita Gupta to lend some credibility to the idea that some want to disband local police and replace police powers with the federal government. Speaking to a group of left-wing lawyers in Colorado, Gupta had this to say:

The conversation in these rooms, however, is not about whether to have police or not but about what kind of policing communities want and deserve.

There is no question that we need police in our communities.

The conversation? What conversation is Gupta hearing that needs to be corrected? Who brought up the idea we might not need police? Nobody sane, for sure.

This has GOT to be satire, right? Has J. Christian Adams turned to comedy writing??

      Yeah, I didn’t think so.

What an absolutely ludicrous, nay, STUPID freakin’ thing to say. That is just RIDICULOUS. What caused Ferguson was a CRIMINAL ATTACKING A POLICE OFFICER, you MORON!!!

Sorry. I am just so sick and tired of the constant victimology of these lunatics, and the just pure-t BS that comes pouring out of their mouths. Just crazy, crazy, crazy…

      • kenoshamarge Says:

No need to say sorry – I feel the same way only with a lot more expletives!

I have passed “sick and tired” and now feel only revulsion for these cretins.

I can no longer excuse their insanity. As the old saw goes, we are all entitled to our own opinion but not to our own facts.

        • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

Well, I admit, had you actually HEARD what I said as opposed to what I typed, I think we would have been on the same page! 😀

      Reparation request? What a jackwaggon.

  3. foxyladi14 Says:

    Wow!!! 🙂

  4. kenoshamarge Says:

Next time someone mentions “sensitivity” training for police officers they might want to reserve a place for the POS residing at the White House.

    • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

Oh, AMEN to that. It is astonishing the insults this Administration has made to those who LITERALLY gave their lives to secure Ramadi…

  5. kenoshamarge Says:

I make it a point to never watch any “panel” discussion group that include Sally Kohn or Eleanor Clift. The first is just batshit crazy and the second is to stupid to bother with.

The stupid one, that would be Clift, is telling us to get ready for “happy Warrior” Joe Biden as POTUS. Really?

The crazy one is once again finding racism in something that isn’t about race at all. Until I saw her latest insanity I didn’t know that Sally Kohn was a CNN “contributor”. One more reason that channel is watch by so few.

    • foxyladi14 Says:

      Me either Marge. 🙂

      • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

Me, either. Honest to pete, I have ZERO idea how Sally Kohn ever, ever ended up on tv. She is one of the most illogical, ignorant people I have heard spout off. Thankfully, I haven’t had to hear her recently since her time on Special Report was BLESSEDLY short…

And Clift – ugh. Good grief.

I wanted to share some news from when I was at the Toyota Dealership (no biggie – a recall notice for something – NOT airbags – that they had to check, but not an issue with the car). A man sat down on the same sofa with me – very nice older man (72). The tv was turned to Fox News, and he glanced at the tv as they were discussing the papers of bin Laden. He mentioned what a MESS the world is in now.

Then he said that he used to think Obama was half good, but not anymore. He then perked up and said, “But I like Scott Governor Walker. Oh, and that young Latino fella down in Florida.” I told him, “Me, too!” He said words to the effect that that would be a good ticket. I agree.

Anyway – especially for Marge and Piper – your Governor is making some inroads!

    • kenoshamarge Says:

Heard that Mike Lee, whom I like and respect, was impressed with Walker too.

      • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

I heard earlier today that Walker got 70 (or so) Republican Representatives to attend a talk he was giving, which was considered a very good turnout. I am not surprised by that at all. He is a man of substance, and we could use one of those…

        • kenoshamarge Says:

I agree about him being a “man of substance”. But I wonder if that’s enough with a public that seems to be stuck in adolescence and wants “bling” and “charisma”. He’s never going to “dazzle” and that’s not only fine with me its great with me. Scott Walker is less about Scott Walker and more about what’s good and right for the people of this country. No doubt he has a “ego” too but he wouldn’t be considering running for POTUS if he didn’t. Gotta believe in yourself for that.

His wife, Tonette, and sons, Alex and Matt, are winners too. Again, no dazzle just nice family people. She’s held up well under the most awful sexist attacks and death threats. That’s the kind of folks reside on the left.

          • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

What a lovely family they have!

And yes, I want a man or person of substance, too. This ridiculous “American Idol” mentality in this country is doing us real harm. We need someone with vision, a backbone, integrity, and experience. That would be someone like Walker.

Maybe if the VP is Rubio or even Fiorina, that would give enough of a “wow” factor. Ridiculous to even have to think abt that though, isn’t it?

  9. kenoshamarge Says:

The women in Scott Walker’s life, Tonette, his wife and the Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch have been the victims of a non-stop “war on women” from the left. Shows what a bunch of thugs and hypocrites they are. How any real woman could vote for a Democrat in Wisconsin after the horrible things they said about these two women is beyond me.

    Here’s Ms. Kleefisch:

    • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

I still get emails from your Lt. Gov. after responding to a call when she was being vilified by that nasty Dem. radio guy. I like her, and I am glad she made it through all of that BS so well. Says a lot abt her.

I guess I shouldn’t be at all surprised that they also attack Walker’s wife. Sheesh.

It is truly astonishing that the Dems have been able to get away with claiming to be the Party for Women when they so often treat women so horribly. Including Hillary, whom they now praise after making incessant derogatory remarks abt her. Ugh.
