“Hillary Must Never Be President…” *Open Thread*

No, I am not channeling what many of us, former Hillary supporters included, feel about Hillary Clinton now since our eyes are wide open. I should say, I am not JUST channeling that sentiment from many of us.

Rather, this is the claim made by Linda Tripp, former White House aide. You remember her, right? She is inextricably bound to the whole Monica Lewinsky scandal. Tripp is finally speaking out about her time in the White House, and what she has to say is a doozy. From BizPacReview:

[…] “I think the most compelling thing about Hillary is that she will stop at nothing to achieve her end and that she views the public as plebeians easily seduced into believing her point of view,” Tripp said in an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail.

“In her mind, she would be part of a coronation instead of an election,” she added.

“This has been planned for so many years,” said Tripp, a White House employee in the early 1990s held over from the Bush administration. “I remember one of the quotes in my first week in the Oval Office, which was the week after Clinton’s first inauguration.

“Everybody had this little mantra, ‘Eight years for Bill. Eight years for Hill’ … So this is a runaway train. Nobody is going to stop it.”

I totally believe that. I have no doubt that is what the mantra was. Hell, that’s what many Deocrats said, including me, I have to admit.

I didn’t know how Clinton operated then, and still, though Tripp sure did:

But Tripp, who had an office directly adjacent to Hillary’s second floor West Wing office, was just getting started in her criticism. She put the 2016 Democratic presidential contender above Bill on the villain list.

“I believe for all his faults as a flawed man, Bill Clinton is not as unscrupulous as his wife,” she said. “He is complicit, but he is not as deceitful as Hillary Clinton is.”

She called Hillary “inherently dishonorable,” and came close to calling her a criminal.

“Hillary Clinton ruled the White House even as early as 1993, and every scandal that originated in the Clinton administration was the brainchild of Hillary,” Tripp told the Daily Mail.

“When I think of Hillary Clinton I think of a lingering taint of scandal and wrongdoing and, in my opinion, possible criminal activity,” she added. […] (

Tripp’s take on Bill is interesting, isn’t it? Of course, there is that whole “bimbo eruptions” aspect:

[…] Tripp said the former president owed a lot to Hillary, who “took care of all the ‘bimbo eruptions’ — of which there were thousands — in order to present to the world an electable candidate.”

“In this endeavor she was ruthless,” Tripp said. “She destroyed women so that their stories never saw the light of day.”

Now that’s a war on women.

Regarding Lewinsky, Tripp said her affair with Bill helped make Hillary popular with the American people.

“Hillary was not only aware of Monica Lewinsky, she ensured that Monica was removed from the White House and in the end went from being a lackluster first lady with unimpressive approval numbers to wronged wife,” she said. “Literally, within the blink of an eye she propelled herself to ‘first victim’ status. No kidding, that is a war on women. But as have been discussing of late, Bill has gotten away with quite a lot of unseemly, possibly criminal behavior in terms of women. I guess we have Hill to thank for that.

Yet another good reason for her not to be come President.

If none of that sticks, perhaps the release of a major motion picture on what happened in Benghazi the night we lost four Americans. Maybe that will get through to some people. Here is the trailer to “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers Of Benghazi” (h/t BizPacReview). I warn you, it is intense:

Megyn Kelly and Dana Perino discussed this film on Wednesday night’s show. From BizPacReview:

“The left and liberals are already so concerned about this movie that they’ve already put resources behind trying to tear it down,” “The Five” co-host said in an appearance on “The Kelly File.”

They probably should be worried. The movie is based on a 2014 book “13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi” by journalist Michael Zuckoff with five former CIA contractors. As a Wall Street Journal reviewer put it, “it’s hard not to read this authoritative account as an indictment of the Obama administration’s tattered narrative.

Perino told Kelly that although it’s too early to tell — especially from only a trailer — it could showcase that others view Clinton as having an overly secretive and untrustworthy nature, “and will also do anything to help herself politically.” […] (Click here to read the rest.)

The WSJ reviewer could have added “Sec. Clinton,” as well since it was HER department that was directly responsible for what happened at the facility in Libya.

Sure will be interesting to see if the House Committee can get anything out of Hillary Clinton, like where the hell those emails are from the Summer Before Benghazi.

Now, I realize that all the information in the world can be out there for those who have the time and inclination to seek for them. But just like with Obama, if the Media determines to protect her, like they did Obama (and currently, Planned Parenthood), she may still get by relatively unscathed. But there does seem to be more and more coming out about her, so we can only hope people will see the light.
