On The ISIS Slaughter in Orlando, FL Rant For The Day *Open Thread*

by

Sunday morning we all awoke to the news of the horrific terrorist attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. And, as expected, the masses of mindless ignorant “celebrities” immediately jumped on the anti-gun anti-NRA bandwagon in support of the murdered.

I’ve no doubt that many of these same co-called celebrities also supported a ban on North Carolina for passing a law that says people should use the restroom that matches their biological sex. Musicians such as Maroon 5, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, and Bryan Adams; groups such as Cirque du Soleil; corporations such as PayPal and Deutsche Bank all canceled plans to perform, work, and expand in NC over what they perceive to be a bias against the LGBT community. Which is bullcrap because the law has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Another sign of their complete and utter ignorance.

Yet these same artists and businesses have NO problem working and performing in places like Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia, Qatar…all countries where homosexuality is against the law. So forgive me if I find their outrage over the terrorist attack in Orlando to be pathetically self-serving.

My heart breaks for those who lost their lives, those who were injured, and all their loved ones whose lives will forever be tragically altered. They were targeted solely because they were gay and that is unquestionably unforgivable.

But let’s be clear. This was not a mass murder and had nothing to do with guns. This was a terrorist attack by a man who had been investigated by the FBI twice in the past and was on their radar as a possible ISIS sympathizer. NBC News reported that the terrorist called 911 right before the massacre and pledged his allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. According to Fox News, he yelled, “Allah Akbar!” during the attack.

So to all those anti-gun, anti-NRA, anti-2nd Amendment hypocritical vermin, I’d like to say to you: STFU. If you gave a damn at all, you’d be fighting against this administration’s leniency toward and support of terrorist groups in this country (CAIR, for one) and their support of terrorist countries (Iran, Gaza). You’d quit the absurdity of decrying bathroom laws and begin speaking out against TRUE violence against the LGBT communities. You’d quit putting your ignorance on display for all the world to see.

Rant over. For now.

    Righteous rant Puma!

I’m sure you’ll feel better knowing that Trump has “tweeted” that he’s working to keep us safe. How? He doesn’t bother with the details. He also called on Obama to resign. Because that’s gonna happen.

Every time some reporter sticks a microphone in some politicians face and asks them what they think I want to scream. Think? Politicians think? Who knew?

Politicians and celebutards and pundidiots all crawl out from under their respective rocks to make brutal tragedies like Orlando all about them and to push their agenda. Repulsive vermin the lot of them.

Absolutely, Kenoshamarge. Knowing DT’s on top of it just makes me feel all warm and cuddly safe. You betcha.

The only intelligent and presidential response I’ve heard so far came from Ted Cruz; I will never forgive the Trumpanzees for being so blind as to give us DT over Cruz.

Amen to that, Marge. Yes, we do.

And Puma, thank you so much for your FANTASTIC rant. You summed it up perfectly.

How many times is the FBI going to let these terrorists go?? Seriously, their track record these days is HORRIBLE: Major Nidal Hasan; the Tsarnaev Brothers; and now this guy – interviewed THREE TIMES. Wow…

      • pumaforever Says:

Thanks, Rev! You know, I heard on the radio this morning a female conservative talk show host say that she did not blame the FBI, she blamed this administration for putting such severe constraints on the FBI that they couldn’t do anything. She said it’s obvious they tried to find a reason to hold him seeing as how they interviewed him twice (or 3 times?) and they kept him on their radar as much as their budget allowed. But just as Obama’s Rules of Engagement ties the hands of our armed services overseas, his leniency and political correctness towards Muslims is tying the hands of the FBI here. Hell, one of the terrorist’s colleagues at the Guard Patrol company had to quit despite repeated complaints of harassment and stalking by the terrorist, and the company would do nothing because he was Muslim. And this guy had to pass a background check to carry a gun?? Two interviews by the FBI, a father who supports the Taliban, domestic violence issues, even in school his schoolmates said he was crazy, and traveled to Saudi Arabia twice and he STILL passes a background check? It was another perspective with regards to the FBI whose morale is, I’m sure, at an all time low. So I wonder, is the FBI screwing up or are their hands tied by the Muslim in the White House?

        • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

That is a good point, Puma. I can certainly agree and appreciate that Obama has tied the hands of many agencies, including the FBI. It is incredible that he was interviewed three times and still let off the hook, but no doubt Obama’s policies made it hard.

And yeah, how in the world did he EVER pass this background checks in the first place?? That is just ridiculous, isn’t it? Wow…

Another hypocrisy – all these celebrities, actors and congress critters calling for gun control are protected by security people who carry weapons, and live in gated communities. Let them first walk among the streets of Chicago and Detroit without their armed security forces and find out how us folks live and work.

My heart cries out for those killed by this madman and their families who will always grieve for their murdered relatives.

And people need to get over that Drumpf will somehow fix these problems and we’ll all live happily after ever in Utopia.

    • kenoshamarge Says:

Excellent points made Piper. I think people need to get over the whole idea that any one person can solve all our problems. The problems are so bad and so many that no one person could fix them all. It would take a government of people willing to work together for the betterment of all. I wish I believed that would happen.

An excellent thread. Thank you for writing my thoughts in such a cogent way.

With all the talent in this country, how the heck did we end up with these 2 losers as candidates. Neither one really cares about the people in this country and are only in the race to feed their narcissistic egos although I will grudgingly admit that Hillary is better at discussing policies than Drumpf who only repeats sound bites with no real thoughts behind them.

The Jihadist Next Door is a documentary aired by Channel featuring suspected Isis masked murderer Abu Rumaysah is shocking but important. It shows how extremists are spreading in UK without any restriction. It is a shocking account of people who wanted to implement sharia in Britain.

    • kenoshamarge Says:

If possible the liberals would allow this to happen here. I simply cannot understand why any American would be for this crap – yet so many on the left make excuses all day long for murdering terrorists and those that support and believe in them.

      It is insane!

  12. Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

This article is disgusting. I mean, it s TRAGIC that one of the Fallen in Orlando was an Army officer. But this is from Military.com, and not ONCE does the author mention that this was a TERROR attack, or that it WAS a terrorist, or that he had ISIS allegiance, or anything of the kind. The only very slight hint this was carried out by a radical Islamist was noting that it was the second largest mass killing since 9/11. I kid you not. And so it begins: http://www.military.com/daily-news/2016/06/14/army-reserve-captain-killed-in-mass-shooting-orlando-nightclub.html

    • kenoshamarge Says:

Why the need to never blame those responsible?

Why the worry about “hate” towards the perpetrators? Shouldn’t we hate what they done?

Why do crazies like Sally Kohn rush to blame Christians when a Muslim commits this crime of terrorism?
