The Bad Choice *Open Thread*

by

I have said my piece about Donald Trump long, loud and often. I can find nothing good to say about the man. I have even less good to say about the people that support him.

The other choice we have, Hillary Clinton is just as bad. The only thing I find better in her is that I don’t think she’s nuts. Him? Nuts.

Hillary is corrupt, dishonest, greedy, and did I mention dishonest? She is supposedly a very hard worker but what does she accomplish with all the hard work? What she did was enrich the Clintons and helped build a “charity” that is little more than a Clinton piggy bank. Other than that the list is miniscule.

What are her accomplishments as a Senator or as Secretary of State?  All I can see her accomplish is getting herself elected or appointed one more step up the ladder. And for all her blather about the “glass ceiling”

The image above doesn’t include other women of merit and accomplishment including Indira Gandhi.

Maggie Thatcher and Golda Meir accomplished a great deal. They were competent and tough. They managed to get into office without whining or playing the victim. And unlike Hillary they didn’t need to ride their husband’s coattails to get anywhere. After all, without Bill Clinton would anyone have ever heard of Hillary Clinton?

Her bad choices are as legendary as her lies to cover up her bad choices. At this point it is apparent that there isn’t much she will not do to enrich or promote Hillary Clinton. Yet no one seems willing to hold her to account. Some of her “bad” choices led to things that have put other people in jail. Not Hillary.

We are all familiar with what Director James Comey of the FBI said about Hillary. He basically indicted her and then said he wasn’t going to indict her.  Here’s his statement if you want to read it in full:  Statement by FBI Director James B. Comey on the Investigation of Secretary Hillary Clinton’s Use of a Personal E-Mail System

I found the sentence below particularly damning and I was far from alone in that.

” Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”

“Extremely careless?” Not exactly the kind of person you want running your county is it? Evidently Bill Clinton thought so as he rushed to defend her and take Comey to task.

Bill Clinton to FBI director: ‘Biggest load of bull I’ve ever heard’  Yeah right Bubba, you would be one to recognize bull when you hear it.
Bill Clinton also threw Mrs. Clinton’s successor under the bus in his talk to journalists, pointing out that John Kerry used a personal email account until last year.

“She should have known that a different set of rules would apply to her,” Clinton complained.

There’s that poor little victimized woman meme again. I’d give it a rest Bull, I mean Bill, no one is buying it except the Hillary clones and crones. They already said that they would support her and vote for her even if she was indicted. Which says as much about them as it does about her.

The truth is both of the Clintons are liars and corrupt to the bone. Bill is just better liked that she is. Except by the women he’s assaulted over the years.
The Clinton Foundation is an amazing construction by these two crooks.

Accusations of “Pay to Play” abound.

Hillary practically promised a pay-to-play State Department

Unless you’re a high-ranking government official, it’s hard to get a meeting with any secretary of state. But during Hillary Clinton’s tenure, there was another way: pay up.

A staggering 85 of the 154 private citizens who managed to meet or speak with her by phone donated money to the Clinton Foundation. That looks improper — as if the secretary used her position to raise money for her family foundation.

The New York Post and reporter Betsy McCaughey  in the link above are not always reliable sources. But they are only one of many voices crying foul on the Clinton Foundation. Every day seems to bring new evidence or accusations or more “lost” emails to light. Hillary lies, whines and points a finger as  usual. If someone was running against this corrupt hag with even a scintilla of credibility she would be toast.

Alas lucky Hillary is running against a buffoon that never takes advantage of her many problems and only pauses long enough to decide which foot to shoot himself in on any given day.

While the media does favor Mrs. Clinton they are not quite as sycophantic as they are for Obama. She may be an unlikable old hag but she’s a liberal unlikable old hag. That ensures their bias and loyalty. Loyalty to a party and not to the truth or to journalism. They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore.

Political Cartoons by Bob Gorrell

There is something fundamentally wrong with a country that would nominate two such repulsive people to be their leader. The candidates are corrupt but so are people who accept and even support their corruption. There is something very wrong and it isn’t just with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton

I SMH every single day at the two choices we have and the “All IN!” reactions of their supporters. I just cannot fathom that these are the ones people really, really want in this country. How in the hell did this happen?

And you are right abt the news networks. They have shifted from being the “All Barack Channel,” etc. to being all in for Clinton. We knew they would be, and we knew this was why they gave Trump so, so, so much air time over his much more qualified, decent competitors but still – it is amazing to see, isn’t it? Wow.

Our nation has been forced so far Left now though that even the Republicans don’t seem to care that they support a Democrat for President. It really boggles the mind. But yeah, I see all of the myriad ways the Left’s ideology has taken hold in this country, like attacking the 1 Percent, attacking businesses and expecting them to all act like non-profits and make no profit, accepting what is being taught in our schools (or isn’t as the case may be), and on I could go.

I don’t know how, or if, we can come back from this. And that just makes my head explode. Thank heavens for your humor in these posts to help keep that from happening!

    Dear Friends:

I have the distinguished honor of being a member of the Committee to raise $50,000,000 for a monument to Hillary R. Clinton. We originally wanted to put her on Mt. Rushmore until we discovered there was not enough room for her two faces.

We then decided to erect a statue of Hillary in the Washington, D.C. Hall of Fame. We were in a quandary as to where the statue should be placed. It was not proper to place it beside the statue of George Washington, who never told a lie, or beside Barack Hussein Obama, who never told the truth, since Hillary could never tell the difference.

We finally decided to place it beside Christopher Columbus, the greatest Democrat of them all. He left not knowing where he was going, and when he got there he did not know where he was. He returned not knowing where he had been, and did it all on someone else’s money.

    Thank you

    Hillary R. Clinton Monument Committee

It really bothers me that people honestly believe we only have two choices. There are other choices but people have quit investigating them and let the parties choose their choices. The msm is not going to change it , the parties are not going to change it only the American people can change it.
Right now I am looking into Evan McMillin. Have not made up my mind yet, but I am expanding my choices.

So far on another site I have been labeled, stupid, crazy, unpatriotic, and selfish because I will not vote for a flim-flam man.
It this how it is supposed to be? I do not think so. I will exercise my right to look at every candidate and make a choice.

I’m looking into Constitution Party Candidate, Darrell Castle. I heard him on Glen Beck and liked him a lot. Evan McMullen is certainly better than Hillary or Trump but he isn’t on the Wisconsin ballot – yet.

Here’s the Beck interview of Castle:

They’re on the ballot in Wisconsin so this is, unless they turn out to be pot smoking liberals like Johnson and Weld, my choice.

Good one. I bet a lot of people are wondering why they didn’t think of it – but then most wouldn’t get away with ignoring or bending or twisting the law.
