👸🏻 Queen Hillary ➖ Open Thread

Hillary Clinton seems unable to accept the fact that she is not the first female President. She cannot accept that she didn’t break the “glass” ceiling. Her throne was stolen from her not once but twice.

She was angry when Obama took her “historic” presidency away back in 2008. He is a black man so she had to accept the election of the first “black” man to the presidency as historic event. She also had to accept the knives in her back from her own party and being deserted by people she thought were in her corner.

Even if resentful and angry she appeared resigned. Once suspects she was resigned because she had been promised that her turn would come after 8 years.

Promises can’t always be kept and once again she was denied the office she felt entitled to hold. This time the winner was an man she saw as a buffoon. A man not entitled to what she wanted. A man like Donald Trump simply could not, would not, defeat her in the election of 2016.  All the experts told her so. Everyone knew she would win. And they were all wrong.

Examples of Hillary’s outrage at lèse-majesté are numerous. How dare the peasants not show proper deference to Queen Hillary?  How dare they!

Hillary’s outrage at the lèse-majesté from the Junior Senator from Wisconsin, Ron Johnson, when he dared question her caused her infamous screeching ” What difference does it make”, which caused her no end of trouble. How dare this nobody question her? Kind of makes you wonder what she’s like in private doesn’t it?

Even the sycophantic media couldn’t cover it up that blunder. The sycophantic media didn’t work as hard for her as they did for their beloved Obama. They don’t seem to like her much. Of course in the end they supported her because any Democrat, no matter how obnoxious or corrupt is better than the very best Republican.

Much to her dismay she lost again and not to the very best Republican. This time she lost to a vulgar Reality Show Real Estate Mogul. The shame of it all.

Hillary disappeared from sight for a while. She was silent but the rest of the left proceeded to lose what passes for their minds.

Hillary-Lost-600-LI.jpg

Then, alas, she returned. She is now in the midst of her “I am a victim” and Multiple Excuse tour. Even the left is laughing at her.

She says she consoled herself after her loss, with some Chardonnay. Others say that’s not quite right but who expects truth from Hillary?

Hillary Clinton says that she “beat” Donald Trump—and Bernie Sanders—in a lengthy feature article by  New York Magazine. “I beat both of them,” she said, evidently referencing her popular vote win over Trump.

While Clinton did defeat Sanders, who is not a Democrat, in the Democratic primary, she did not defeat Trump, who was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States in January.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/ec/ElectoralCollege2016.svg/2000px-ElectoralCollege2016.svg.pngEvidently Ms Clinton, former 1st Lady, former Senator and former Secretary of State doesn’t accept that our government elected as president whoever got 270 votes in the electoral college.

And how about this little bit right out of her own mouth?

politics A Prophet:

Why is it that politicians never seem to be bothered by their own hypocrisy? Why don’t the people that vote for and support them care? These same people that will then whine about  what a bunch of fools and crooks are in government.

Hypocrisy is an epidemic among politicians, media and large numbers of the public. Therefore her hypocrisy isn’t  as newsworthy as the fact that Trump gets 2 scoops of ice cream or commits the crime of drink coca-cola at 10:30 in the morning.

You may after reading about Trump’s crime of drinking coke in the morning wonder how petty this nonsense can get. I suspect it will continue as Hillary continues on her excuse laden Victim Tour.

Even many of her fans on the left don’t approve of what she’s doing. Ruth Marcus, who never met a Republican she liked, thinks Hillary is wrong. In her Sunday column titled – Hillary Unbound  she chastises Hillary:

WASHINGTON — Well, Hillary Clinton isn’t going gently. That may be understandable, but it’s not smart — not for Clinton, not for her party, and not for other female candidates.

Clinton has emerged in recent weeks, and this version is Hillary Unbound, no words minced, no target spared — except, for the most part, herself. So there was Clinton at a Recode conference, not merely relitigating the 2016 election but relitigating it like the relentless trial lawyer she once was.

Marcus claims “Much of Clinton’s critique is well-founded — when it comes to Russia, alarming. ” But as much as Marcus tries to sugar coat it, what she’s actually saying is – “Hillary, stop it”.

Says Marcus:

She should sound the alarm about the dangers of Russian intervention in future elections.

But enough, already, with the seemingly never-ending, ever-expanding postmortem.

If she’s trying the patience of a fan like Marcus she is doing herself harm. I like that.

What I would like better is politics with minimal Clinton input.

We are a nation of over 360 million people and yet most of my adult life I have heard more about the Clintons and Kennedys than any other Democrats. Until Obama came along.

I would also like an end to the liberal nonsense about the “popular” vote. I am grateful, as we all should be that we elect our president with the electoral college vote. Otherwise California and New York would basically elect whoever they wanted and the rest of us could pound salt. That’s not a Democracy, that’s mob rule.

Back to Hillary, if we must, since she simply hasn’t the class, brains, or decency to go quietly away.  When she is quiet, the Heir to the Clinton throne, Princess Chelsea thrusts her mediocre mind and personality upon us.

Time to leave Hillary. Go play with your grandchildren instead of using them as photo-ops. Write another book and see if liberal editors are still willing to pay you more than your books make. Do something – anything, but just go away.

Because if you are as smart as we’ve been told you are, even you must understand that if George Soros’s money can’t buy you the White House, it’s not to be.

If Trump screws things up so badly that people find your lack of personality and hints of your illness and talk of your drinking less worse than him. It could happen. Good lord we could see a rematch in 2020.

I think I need to go lay down.

Hypocrisy from the lady who asked Trump during one of the debates if he would accept the election results then became concerned when he laughingly refused to answer in the affirmative.

Advice to Madame Hillary – you lost for various reasons now go home and play gramma. You’re embarrassing yourself and the democrat party.
BTW – Although I only have several degrees from non-eltist universities, I not only had a career until retirement but worked hard in my chosen profession sans a lot of whining and poor me attitude. I’m not a ‘deplorable.’

We gave up on you when you told your delegates in 2008 to cast their votes for obama. Even the despicable Teddy K. challenged Carter at the democrat convention way back when.

    Stepping off soap box gingerly.

This is my smack Hillary around post and I have so much ammunition I don’t know where to start.

Although this might be a good place:

      Marge,
Facts, sm m macts, what does it matter in the big picture. It WAS her turn – that’s all that matter. Not fair, not playing by playground rules. Now let’s all go and dump some more on Prez. Trump who stole her presidency with the aid of Tsar Putin.

Time to forget our little sticky hands in Libya, Egypt and other places.

It’s time for all nations to sit and rationally discuss what is happening regarding terrorism and look for viable solutions.

We can’t blame one group or one culture for all the terrorism. In my lifetime different groups from many countries have rained terror and destruction. Groups such as SLA, SDS, Baader-Menhof, the Japanese Red Army, IRA, Italian Red Brigade. Does it ever end?

I have no answers but will continue to treat everyone with respect and compassion.

      Food for thought
‘As a result, western European Muslims fear the terrorists more than they fear the police. The West will remain vulnerable to mass terror attacks until the balance of fear shifts in the other direction.

As the Prussian army drove into France during the 1870 war with France, Germany’s Chancellor Otto von Bismarck sought the advice of the American military observer, none other than Phil Sheridan, whose cavalry had burned out the farmers of the Shenandoah Valley in the last stages of the conflict. What should Bismarck do about French snipers and saboteurs from villages along the Prussian route of march? Sheridan told Bismarck to burn the villages, leaving the people “with nothing left but their eyes to weep with after the war.” That, and hang the snipers, Sheridan threw in.

Like Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman, who burned a great swath through Georgia and the Carolinas, Sheridan believed that war is won not just by killing soldiers but by denying them support from a broader civilian population. There’s nothing particularly clever about this insight. One learns from James Lee McDonough’s new biography of Sherman how ordinary the great man was–a competent military officer without a minute’s combat experience before the war began, then an honest but unsuccessful banker. When the war came Sherman came close to a nervous breakdown, trying in vain to convince his masters that they would have to kill 300,000 Southern soldiers and devastate the Confederacy to win the war. He then distinguished himself in combat at Shiloh in 1863 and went on to become the scourge of the Deep South.’

      • kenoshamarge Says:

Sheridan’s words seem heartless at first. Then you realize that the sooner a conflict is ended the fewer people die or are maimed or traumatized.

There should be, must be, some “rules of war”, but if you don’t fight to win then fighting at all is futile. JMO

The Washington Post ran a headline Sunday that read:

“World Leaders Call For Unity After London Attack. Trump tweets the complete opposite.”

The article chastises President Trump for not joining in the fake condolences and platitudes of the political elite, and praises those elites for their messages of hope. But what, exactly, are they saying we should be hopeful for?

    http://thefederalist.com/2017/06/05/london-bridge-world-sick-politicians-downplaying-terrorism/

I’ve seen many on the right chastising Trump too. Putting flowers and messages at the scene of bloodshed may make people feel better but it accomplishes nothing except perhaps adding to the satisfaction of the terrorists at our weakness.

Can you imagine how bizarre the typical liberal reaction to terrorism must seem to the terrorists?

Terrorist: We want to kill you in the name of Allah because we’re good Muslims!

Liberal: No, you’re not. That’s not what you believe.

    Terrorist: Yes, it is.

Liberal: No, no…you’re oppressed and probably upset about global warming.

    Terrorist: Wait, what?

    Liberal: Let’s all co-exist!

Terrorist: How did you miss the entire, “We want to kill you in the name of Allah” thing? What is wrong with you?

And when you really cross her…

    • kenoshamarge Says:

Hi Anthony – so nice to “see” you again.

Yeah, the Dowager Duchess of Chappaqua has some “interesting” things in her history that need investigating and I don’t mean her email.

I doubt I’ll still be around when the skeletal Hillary runs for POTUS, but I suspect she will be.

      • piper Says:

        Now Marge,
You should have warned me that you were posting these pics. My trigger or whatever it’s called is hyperventilating – debating whether to ride my bike or get a drink.

      • Anthony Says:

Most likely, she’ll partner with Bernie, and give a whole new spin to “Weekend At Bernie’s”

        • kenoshamarge Says:

Ah yes, the corrupt liberal and the phony “Socialist” – together they give us old folks a bad name. Then add in Trump and the silly old fool trio is complete.

FYI the word is that “Socialist” Bernie, the champion of the poor and down trodden is getting 3/4 of a million advance for his new book about evil rich people. No news about which of his 3 houses he’ll be writing it from.

Bingo. “A glass of Chardonnay” indeed. ROTFLMAO sure, Hillary, whatever you say. Just don’t pitch another screaming fit.

After London Bridge, The World Is Sick Of Politicians Downplaying Terrorism

Our political leaders are basically telling us that this kind of terrorism, random and deadly, is the price we have to pay for their policies of multiculturalism and political correctness.

Our Politicians Can’t Handle the Truth

The sad truth, and getting sadder with every attack, is that the political class has little interest in doing what would really be necessary to combat Islamist terrorism, let alone talk about it. They don’t want to talk about how Britain’s lax immigration policies over decades led to hundreds of thousands of immigrants entering the country with varying degrees of willingness to assimilate and adopt Western values. They don’t want to openly criticize the blatant problems with the multiculturalism the UK has pursued for years and the obvious impact it has had on the immigrant population.

Oh no. This would cost them too much. It would shatter the facade of political correctness that’s been constructed over our “civilized” western world, and destroy the illusion, so vital to the political class, that Western values are universal.

    • piper Says:

Responsibility is a bridge too far for most of the politicians. Sadly not much will change until the terrorists strike in their elite neighborhoods or kill one of their loved ones.
All I can do is pray for mine and everyone’s safety. No one should have to live in fear and chaos.

      • kenoshamarge Says:

All too true Piper. They mouth platitudes while real people die. They are safe and above and secure from the horror. Or so they think. I suspect that will not always be so.
