There must be enough, or should be enough, actual reporters at CNN to know that when you become the news it is not a good thing. When you are being laughed at and not with, it is not a good thing.Big Dancing Banana animated emoticon

I know that Trump and the Trump Pom-Pom brigade are claiming they’re responsible for taking down CNN. They haven’t helped CNN but they haven’t taken it down. For starters it isn’t down yet. It certainly is sinking and it’s credibility is shrinking but CNN could rise again. Just one lost airliner and they would be back in business.

CNN’s problems are CNN. It’s leadership, it’s attitude, it’s bias all contribute to a culture that is ripe for mocking by Trump and the right.

A prime example is their reporter Jim Acosta and his whining. If CNN isn’t treated the way  Obama treated them, like elites, they are miffed. And they whine. They want to be in the front row. They must be given the chance to ask one of the first questions. They demand all the special treatment reserved for the elite.

CNN’s Jim Acosta Whines About Trump Receiving Equal Number of Questions From Conservative Media

“This isn’t how we do things in this country”, says the whiny little CNN reporter.

Obama used to treat FOX news shoddily and that wasn’t right. He didn’t treat the lefty newsies much better. They didn’t seem to care as they lavished praise on a man who treated them with disrespect and disdain.

Did FOX treat Obama unfairly? It seemed to me that Obama and his acolytes had a problem with FOX being the only place where he wasn’t treated as if he could walk on water.

Although FOX quite obviously leans right they didn’t attack Obama like CNN has attacked Trump. The attacks on Obama were, IMO, if anything far too mild considering the things he did and said. Only old curmudgeon Krauthammer thoroughly skewered the narcissist in the White House adequately.

So sing me no sad song for CNN and their battle with Trump. They attack him constantly and anyone with the slightest knowledge of who and what Trump is would have known  he would retaliate.

I have no problem with people saying Trump is both childish and vulgar. He is. But come on MSM, your childish behavior is as bad or worse.

CNN uses Elmo to attack Trump? And call him a man-child?  That is hypocrisy at it’s most basic.

Death Spiral: Along With Its Credibility, CNN Ratings Collapse

Tuesday, over the course of the day, CNN was only able to attract a measly 670,000 viewers. For context, MSNBC nearly doubled this number; Fox News nearly tripled it. CNN has almost always lagged a bit behind MSNBC in total viewers, but not like this.

Over the entire second quarter of 2017, looking at total viewers, only one CNN program placed in the top 20 of all cable news shows, and that was Anderson Cooper’s 360, which landed with a thud at number 20.

For perspective, a repeat of Tucker Carlson’s Fox New hour attracted more viewers than any show on CNN.

The right leaning cartoonists are having a lot of fun with CNN’s problems.

Henry Payne using the ghost of Joe McCarthy is pretty good IMO. Ol “Tail-Gunner Joe” was a Republican but this cartoon only goes to show that fanaticism has no bias.

Political Cartoons by Henry Payne

Rick McKee sees CNN as more of a snake in the grass. Since I loathe reptiles of any kind, snakes in particular, it works for me.

I don’t know who thought of the image below but it’s a good one – well good if you like lampooning CNN. It is a real stinger.

Bob Gorrell lets the troubled network speak for itself. Maybe that’s not a good thing – for CNN.

You might think that with all the nonsense from them and about them that CNN would try to reclaim some of their lost credibility by reporting sensibly. They might try ditching  the hyperbole for awhile. Not them, it seems a network on the skids still says the darn-est things:

CNN Anchor: Trump Putting Journalists In Danger; “Declaration Of War On Media” Has “Emboldened” War Zones

CNN’s Clarissa Ward, a foreign correspondent, served as guest co-host on Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s News Day. Ward fretted that “people” in war zones have been “emboldened” by President Trump’s “declaration of war on the media.” Ward, expressing concern for members of the media in dangerous areas of the world, said to guest Chris Cillizza, ‘I can only imagine what a person like you is dealing with. At what point does this become reckless or irresponsible?’

It should be noted Chris Cillizza is a Washington-based political correspondent and commentator.

Then Chris Cuomo had his own little meltdown moment all over my Senator, Ron Johnson:

CNN’s Cuomo: This Whole Fake News Thing Needs To End, And It Needs To End Right Now.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo exploded on Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) after he said the debate around the plan to repeal and replace Obamacare is “completely distorted using incorrect information.”

Well if you say so Chris…

With FOX on the right and MSNBC rabidly on the left, there was a nice spot for CNN right in the middle. All they had to do was just report the news. Fair and balanced, honest and factual. They chose not to do that.

They could have a large audience that is tired of bias from both the left https://i1.wp.com/www.dostriplesdosloterias.com.ve/images/boxing.gifand right. They could have an audience of people that just wants the truth. Not opinion, not spin, and not partisan. They coulda been a contender.

The MSM has proven itself unworthy of trust, respect or even liking. I don’t like liars.  I don’t like people that insult my intelligence by telling me lies that are easily disproved.

So I sing no sad songs for CNN and it’s problems. But I do enjoy the cartoons from those who enjoying seeing them in trouble.

It’s Friday and we’re heading into the big Independence Day weekend. There will be barbecues and fireworks and video clips of cute young nitwits in bikinis who think we are celebrating the war of our independence from Canada in 1860.

So I wish you a Happy Friday and a great 4th of July! Smiley waving US flag animated emoticon

Last night there was a man on the Special Report panel who said Obama treated the press SO much better than Obama. I began sputtering at the tv that maybe he oughta ask JAMES ROSEN abt Obama’s treatment of the press, never mind Sharyl Attkisson! And how abt the reporter Obama (then candidate) called “Sweetie”? Funny how these liberal journalists didn’t start screaming, “SEXIST, SEXIST!” at him for that.

What incredibly short memories these journalists have. Too bad for them we do not suffer from that same ailment…

    A Blue-Collar, Middle-Class Truck Driver’s Rant On America’s Health Care Mess

Here’s a concrete example of what ‘skyrocketing premiums,’ ‘gargantuan deductibles,’ and ‘outrageous co-pays’ look like on the ground for a blue-collar, middle-class truck driver.

GOOD TRUMP: Trump Finally Suggests That Republicans Ought To REPEAL Obamacare, Replace It Later

    By Ben Shapiro

If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!

Well, better late than never. But Republicans are running out of time. They made a promise to the American people. Now it’s time to keep that promise.
