I wish thinking caps were available on Amazon. I think that we would have a lot more informed people.

I think we would have a lot less knee-jerk reactions from people.

I think we would know more than we know now because we wouldn’t simply take the thinking of our tribe or the latest talking points as fact.

In my opinion it is only a short step from tribal thinking to not thinking at all. It is only a short step from tribal thinking to indoctrination. Therefore, again in my opinion, images, cartoons and articles that make us think are useful. For those that care to think.

So here are some images I found useful in the thinking process.

See what you think.

Just think about the message of the image below. It’s the message the media and the Democrats want you to believe. They push that message daily. It’s nonsense and people that accept such nonsense aren’t thinking.

Isn’t it an old truism that when the “news” becomes the news, that’s a bad thing? But then comparing Brian Stelter to a real journalist is like comparing oranges and apples. Or more like comparing oranges and garbage trucks, which is to say no comparison at all.

If what the media or a politician or a pundit or a friend is telling you doesn’t make sense – maybe you shouldn’t believe them. Anyone that is a friend of the person below needs to think seriously about getting her a straight jacket.

Oh my, poor Elmo… To think just a short time ago he was a “talent” at CNN.

The following might be the only way to get some people to actually read the Declaration of Independence. You know that document that guarantees their right to pursue happiness in whatever idiotic way they desire.

The following image is unkind. I suspect it’s true but unverifiable. The fact is when you make a total ass of yourself, day after day, as Mad Maxine Waters does,  it tends to make people disrespect you.

Of course anyone that respects this corrupt old hag has my deepest sympathy for the death of their ability to think critically. I mean that in the kindest way.

Why is it racist or in some way hateful to say the what is on the sign below? Isn’t the truth supposed to be judged on it’s veracity not on whether it’s hurtful? Truth isn’t always kind or fair or pleasant. It’s just truth. If you cannot accept that you need to grow up.

Many/most people don’t think logically. Thinking with the heart sound like a good thing unless you are smart enough to know it isn’t always what’s best for a people or a country.  That’s just my opinion based on seeing what the liberal program of “caring” has done to my country.

Don’t expect CNN or the legions of Trump haters to see the irony in the image below. Any more that they can see the irony of calling him a fool while they continue to obsess about a typo.

Some things that happen are inevitable and are bad. Good ideas need to be implemented only after checking carefully, and honestly, about what the consequences will be. Good ideas that give money to people is usually enough to fool enough of the people because they don’t pay attention to the inevitable consequences. Greed helps mask the inevitable consequences or warnings by people who see what could/might/will happen.

Most don’t say it this blatantly but most believe it completely. Common sense is, after all, not very common. I suspect it never was.

Why is it racist to say that a black woman is stupid, even if she is, but not racist to call a white man a racist even if he isn’t? Seems kind of unfair to me. Aren’t liberals all about being fair? Besides dumb has no color any more than smart does.

The image below is backed by nothing but opinion. However it does depict the way many are acting about some tweets. Heading for the fainting couch every time Trump tweets something you don’t like only makes you look more foolish that he looks for tweeting nonsense to begin with. Just like two wrongs don’t make a right two fools don’t make it smart. And does no one remember what happened to the boy that kept crying wolf?

A thought and image to make liberal’s and #NeverTrumper’s heads explode.

I’ll leave you with this final image because when I saw it I was incredulous. Shame on me for that.  Shame on me for “judging” in the first place and then shame on me for forming an opinion without having all the facts. I do get points for knowing that “Bill Nye – the Science Guy”, isn’t.

Now go be awesome and enjoy the day!

That’s what my animals do to me EVERY day! Bou, one of the cats, starts around 5:00 a.m. Good thing I don’t drink or else I would REALLY not be a happy camper every morning! 🙂

What a great, entertaining post, Marge! I am still stuck on Dolph Lundgren and his credentials versus the “Science Guy,” liberal apologist and ideologue, Bill Nye. WOW!!

I know – isn’t that funny? Who would have thought it. Like I said, shame on me for “assuming.”

      • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

Isn’t it ironic that someone who bills himself as a scientist isn’t and someone who honestly could does not? And how is it that Nye was ever even able to apply that moniker to himself? Did no one actually CHECK his credentials? Just wondering…

Thank you, glad you liked it. I love looking for things like this – it makes me think. And at my age the muscle between my ears needs all the exercise it can get.

Ben Shapiro: Does Being Presidential Matter Anymore?

But while the media act as though Trump is a shocking break from his predecessors, the fact is that they took the first steps down the path of merging the frivolous and the grave. They began violating public standards long before Trump was ever a presidential contender. Trump defenders aren’t wrong to scoff at Bill Clinton supporters suddenly discovering presidential propriety two decades after defending their favorite’s cigar tricks with a White House intern in the Oval Office.

And Barack Obama wasn’t exactly shy about making the media rounds in the most ridiculous way — it was he, after all, who began appearing with GloZell and Pimp With the Limp in order to press forward his political case.

It’s enough to churn the stomach to imagine the great people who once occupied the halls of power, and then consider what moral Lilliputians now roam there.
