❄️ It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Crazy

When you get to be my age and things seem a bit crazy to you – you ponder. Is the issue/event/person crazy or am I in my old age the nutcake? It’s a legitimate question that I’ve come to ask myself with monotonous regularity. Sort of prune juice for the brain.Image result for down the rabbit hole images

Even people who are years, decades, scores of years younger than I must often wonder if they’ve fallen down… the rabbit hole.

The instances of crazy are not hidden from view – they are blatantly in your face every day. Not only in your face but demanding that you accept them as some kind of reality.  Because reality isn’t as important as feelings or someone’s opinion. Scratching Head animated emoticon Yeah, think about that.

I’ll be the first to admit that to me, my opinion is of great importance. To the rest of the world, not very much. I always try to keep in mind that my right to my opinion doesn’t make my opinion right.  I forget who said that first but in my opinion they were right.

There was a time, in the not so distant past when we only had to suffer from the opinions of the pundidiots that pranced on television or pontificated in the pages of major newspapers with the written word. We knew who they were and knew how to deal with them. Written = bottom of the bird cage and pontificating nitwits on the air waves were simply one click away from oblivion. Television screen goes black and haul out a book.

Now with the proliferation of social media  everyone with access to a keyboard is able to reveal their lack of intellect in front of everyone. Many of these weak-minded ninnies think their opinion is the same as a fact.  Too often the keyboard pontificater to be either enormously ignorant, immensely stupid or angry and mean.

Think about the information below:

The modern Socialist takes an Uber to the Starbucks where they post on Social Media from an IPhone…

To complain about Capitalism.

Isn’t that a bit crazy? Have my ancient synapses finally stopped transferring electric activity (information) from one cell to another?

Politicians spend an inordinate amount of their time excoriating other politicians and slinging mud like school yard children. Then they wonder why we have such a low opinion of them. Or perhaps they don’t wonder at all – perhaps they know and don’t care because a certain number of crazy people will support them no matter what they do or say.

Take Nancy Pelosi who is the Minority Leader in the House of Representatives. This woman says crazy things all the time. Sometime she simply babbles.  If this old woman runs for office until she falls over in her tracks the voters in her district will continue to vote her back into office. WTH? Scratching Head animated emoticon

I was surprised at the number of rich and power men who are being outed as perverts. I shouldn’t have been surprised. This is the culture that we live in. This is in your face sex 24/7, teachers who want to tell your young children about anal sex and the proliferation of genders. What the hell did we expect?

If sex is fine and dandy for everyone all the time where is there a line to be drawn? Rape? Yet some of these crazies are equating some old perv patting their butt to woman who have been raped thus making the rape less horrific. That’s just my opinion and not a fact.

We have access to more information than any people have ever had. Yet because so much of it’s wrong  we are not only not more informed than previous generations we are far more misinformed. To make that even worse much of the misinformation is being peddled by a media that is determined to:

A. Take down Donald Trump

B. Convert most of America to liberals

C. Vent their rage over not getting the result they thought they would get when they worked very hard to make Donald Trump the Republican candidate

D. All of the above

Craziest of all is that anyone, from any party, from red or blue states, from Earth, Mars or Uranus are actually listening to or taking Crazy Maxine Waters seriously.

This loud-mouthed lunatic has been screaming about impeaching Trump since he was elected. People who should know better listen, not only listen but cheer. Am I senile or are they nuts? Related image

Then there is this very special brand of complete insanity. This loon passed crazy a while back:

You know that the world is crazy when Donald Trump sits in the White House as a duly elected president. So bad was his opponent, so disliked and mistrusted that a former FLOTUS was defeated by a talk show host and wealthy loud mouth.

As if having a aged juvenile delinquent in the White House wasn’t enough we have and over abundance of stupid, lying nitwits in our nation’s newsrooms.

I will, and do give Trump props when he does things that I think are good for this country.

I admit that a part of me loves it when he skewers some arrogant pundidiot as they have never been skewered before. I like it when his silliness leads to such silliness from his detractors that his silliness seems less silly.

The crazy is everywhere.Image result for bullet train cartoon images

There are now 9426 genders, by actual count and you can get arrested in California if you use the wrong one. That’s not all that crazy when you consider that it’s in California where crazy gets elected more often than elsewhere.

Governor Moonbeam and his 64 billion dollar bullet train to nowhere? Gender arrest seems almost normal after that.

Feminist writer Jill Filipovic in a recent New York Times op-ed claimed that Mark Halperin, Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer were responsible for Hillary losing the election.

Many of the male journalists who stand accused of sexual harassment were on the forefront of covering the presidential race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Matt Lauer interviewed Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Trump in an official “commander-in-chief forum” for NBC. He notoriously peppered and interrupted Mrs. Clinton with cold, aggressive, condescending questions hyper-focused on her emails, only to pitch softballs at Mr. Trump and treat him with gentle collegiality a half-hour later.

Mark Halperin and Charlie Rose set much of the televised political discourse on the race, interviewing other pundits, opining themselves and obsessing over the electoral play-by-play. Mr. Rose, after the election, took a tone similar to Mr. Lauer’s with Mrs. Clinton — talking down to her, interrupting her, portraying her as untrustworthy. Mr. Halperin was a harsh critic of Mrs. Clinton, painting her as ruthless and corrupt, while going surprisingly easy on Mr. Trump.

Yup, there you have it folks, they are/were not only pervs, they lost the election for Hillary.  Down the rabbit hole she goes.

I haven’t even scratched the crazy surface. There is more crazy than I have the time or the energy to discuss. Some of it I don’t discuss – I just read it and sit goshwoggled into silence. I am in awe of the ability of some people to tie their own shoes when their brain is among the dear departed.

I hope you have a really great day and don’t run into too many of the crazies. Be careful if you do, I’m not sure if it’s catching or not. Given the way it’s spreading, it just might be.

This is, as always, an

I found your writing quite by accident. It is a breath of fresh air.

Two things – if Donald Trump and his family vanished today, what would people do with their time? I do believe that he is everything they dislike about themselves but can’t admit it.

I personally know an insurance claim lawyer who proudly crows he is a rabid Communist, and writes in that vein. He also says he is an activist since he shows up with his posse and marches around declaiming climate change. Nothing else, just marching around. Incongruent is the word. He writes for a well-known publication that doesn’t pay their writers but offers exposure instead.

Glad you liked it. I am just a caretaker and sometimes poster for our fearless and terrific leader, Rev Amy. I am usually hesitant to approve new people since if I’m wrong it could cause problems for the Rev.

But I figured someone with Dolphins in their name could only be one of the good people. Welcome.

Delighted to have you here, Neptunesdolphins. And I concur with Marge – anyone with dolphins in their name is welcome here!

      Great comment, too. Thank you!

Marge – you are so sweet, and heaven knows, you are more than a caretaker here. Your writing is invaluable! It is my honor to have you here.

Shapiro On Fox And Friends: Trump’s Jerusalem Decision ‘An Act Of Not Only Political Bravery But Moral Courage’

It’s an obviously an act of not only political bravery but moral courage to move the embassy. But just to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital – the absurdity of the U.S. policy suggesting that Jerusalem is not Israel’s capital has resulted in idiocies like the fact that my niece, who was born in Jerusalem, it says on her passport Jerusalem and then it doesn’t say which country she’s from.

Jerusalem is only important to the world because of Judaism; it’s important to Christianity because it was first important to Judaism; it’s important to Islam because it was first important to Judaism; Jerusalem is mentioned hundreds of times in the Jewish texts; Jerusalem is in the Israeli national anthem. The culmination of Jewish history, really, was in 1967, with the recapture and the unification of Jerusalem under Judaic rule. The freedom of Jerusalem was only assured, by the way, because of that Jewish rule.

Most of the blame on the status of the middle east goes to the Great Britain who along with France divied up the land there and chose the leaders they wanted to run the countries. And a century later we see the results.

      • kenoshamarge Says:

I have great respect and admiration for the people of Great Brittan and their courage and tenacity during WW2.

However the behavior of the government and the army after towards the Jews who survived Hitler’s attempt to eradicate them was beyond vile. Many in both the government and army were anti-Semites.

When the British army turned Israel over to the Jews they went out of their way in many cases to make sure the Arabs got places that would give them the advantage in the fighting no one doubted would follow the British withdrawal.

What surprised the British, as well as the rest of the world was that the Jews won.

To see antisemitism rear it’s ugly head again in our country fills me with sadness and anger.

To go along with my post yesterday is this excellent article by Matt Walsh of The Daily Wire. He lays out well what is a human right and what is a special right, and demanding someone make something for an event with which they disagree is wrong with some great examples:

I’m a bit tired of special treatment for certain groups.

      • kenoshamarge Says:

I think a lot of us are. And tired of the constant whining as if every minute of every day these “victims” were being assaulted.

In many cases. IMO, it is an attempt to force people past acceptance into agreement.

  4. Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

Ben Shapiro at the Daily Wire has a good article on why Trump’s support of Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel does NOT incite violence:

And not for nothing, it ain’t like there has been a ton of peace between Israel and Palestine without the embassy being in the rightful capital. Daily I see headlines on how often Israel has to defend itself from terrorists coming over from Palestine, blowing up their tunnels, and more. So yeah – it is ridiculous to blame Trump for any violence there. They are plenty capable of being violent all on their own.

    • kenoshamarge Says:

David Harsanyi from the Federalist, another writer I respect, thinks the move might make peace more likely.

David Harsanyi: Trump’s Recognition Of Jerusalem Makes ‘Peace’ More Likely </strong>

Palestinian leadership might have deluded their own people for decades, but there is no conceivable peace deal that includes a truly divided Jerusalem. Like the Right of Return, the notion that a part of Jerusalem proper will be handed over to an antagonistic government, much less the remnants of the PLO and their on-and-off political partners Hamas, is a fantasy. This is not a radical Likud position, it’s one of the few issues that all major political parties, left and right, agree on in Israel.

      • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

Absolutely agree. It is so abt time (which is why I felt compelled to write my weekend post on this issue!).

    • piper Says:

But, but, anything that Trump does is wrong and bad for ???? according to certain groups and special snowflakes. If obama had recognized Jerusalem, those people denigrating Trump, would be cheering him as a man who walks on water.

      • kenoshamarge Says:

The constant drumbeat of anti-Trump and Trump is to blame for everything nonsense has turned many of us who were not Trump fans, ever #NeverTrump at one time, into his defenders.

Because almost always no matter what he does or says his detractors do or say something worse.

Looks like Franken is going down. Numerous female Dems calling for him to leave and now Tom Perez of the DNC.

I suspect the Dems want Franken and Conyers gone so they can rant on about Moore without looking too hypocritical. Problem is that more and more Dems are being outed.

Six Female Democratic Senators Say Franken Should Resign UPDATE: Nine

    • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

Great comment, Marge, and I am sure you are right in your assessment.

Someone on Fox noted today the lack of real remorse Franken has shown. Yeah, no kidding.

And how abt the Conyers’ son Conyers wants to replace him? HE’S a piece of work, too:

      • piper Says:

According to the clown, none of his behavior was meant as sexual abuse, just playful antics. And he said he would never do it again. Having lived in St. Paul during Norm Coleman’s tenure as mayor, I never say him as a viable candidate however he was cheated out of the senate seat by the unbelievable discovery of ballots in a car trunk. So I would say something about karma to the Al, who really is a nasty man when not campaigning.

Ha! I love this post. Being insanitybytes I am all about embracing the crazy. Nobody has to agree with my opinions, but I’ve seen how much crazy there is out there. So if we’re grading on a curve here, I’m actually pretty reasonable. 🙂

  9. Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

For a bit of a break from the crazy, I have something over which the audience went wild:

I don’t watch this show, but Faithwire said that this young woman is the daughter of two evangelists. It shows!

  10. Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

Gosh, I am just SHOCKED abt this – I mean, really – the FBI under Obama was political?! Wow, who woulda guessed it? Ahem: http://therightscoop.com/another-accusation-of-politicization-of-the-fbi-over-benghazi

    • kenoshamarge Says:

      Yes, isn’t that a surprise? /s

Actually the only surprise would be if anything under Obama wasn’t politicized.

Remember how electing a “black” man was going to cure our racism problem? It’s as bad or worse than it was 50 years ago thanks to his dividing the country. To his own advantage of course.

And I thought this might be a good question:

      • Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy Says:

Uh, yeah – it is truly disturbing how the media shape so much of how we think and perceive things. When I was in Grand Cayman last, a Jamaican friend was SHOCKED to learn that Obama’s mother was white and that his white family raised him (she is not a fan of his, btw). She had no idea because the media WANTED it that way.

Kinda like they NEVER mention that Colin Kaepernick’s parents are white and I think he is “mixed race,” too. Grrrr,
