Friday’s Cartoons

How to Draw a Cartoon Face - Funny Face Drawing Lesson ...

Cartoonists use several methods, or techniques, to get their point across. Not every cartoon includes all of these techniques, but most political cartoons include at least a few. Some of the techniques cartoonists use the most are symbolism, exaggeration, labeling, analogy, and irony.

Let’s get to the cartoons.  I hope you like the Baker’s Dozen of cartoons and cartoonists I’ve chosen for this Friday.

Have We Ever Had A President Like This Before?

    By I & I Editorial Board

Some believe that Woodrow Wilson’s wife Edith ran the federal executive branch after the president had a stroke in October 1919. Even the Obama White House said she “functionally” was in charge of the administration “for the remainder of Wilson’s second term.” At least Wilson started his presidency in a sentient state. Not sure the same can be said of Joe Biden.

It’s clear that the 46th president of the United States is impaired. He has yet to face the media, waiting longer to hold his first press conference than any president in the last 100 years.

Biden’s team has finally scheduled a news conference, announcing Tuesday he’d be up for it on – March 25. Why the long run-up? Will it take his handlers that long to ensure that he doesn’t have a blowout while talking to the press? There’s a transparency problem, as Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany has pointed out. Biden aides are doing nothing to inspire the country’s confidence in the man.

I’ve thought of WIlson(?) I think it was that was a bit incapacitated at the end. However as you said, they did not enter office like Biden is.
There were rumors about Reagan since he had the beginnings of Alzheimer’s disease when he left office. From what I remember Reagan was still quite coherent for quite a few years after he left office, so I have to believe he was in way way better shape mentally than Biden is now.

Wow Keno you’re on a roll…Either I’m in better shape or better prepared today, but at least I don’t have walk away like I did yesterday. Yesterday you picture with fauci in the bologna mask DAMN I had tears coming down my face I was laughing so hard.

    There is No Biden Administration
Only an imminent 25th Amendment crisis and soldiers in the streets.

I want to scream, but then I wonder why no one is helping out this guy. Think about it, if this was another elderly person trying to get up a set of stairs, one’s immediate reaction would be to help them.
This whole administration has become such a farce.

Biden fell 3 times going up the stairs to Air Force One.

    • kenoshamarge Says:

That is the president of the United States, well at least he’s playing one, and no one helps him. What in the hell?

    • Re-Farmer Says:

My thoughts were much the same, when I first saw the video. When I saw him fall, I literally felt like jumping out of my chair to help, the instinct is so strong. How much I dislike him is irrelevant. I would have been up those stairs and giving him a hand before I even thought about it. Isn’t that anyone’s natural reaction to something like this??

As has been pointed out already, what is being done to Biden, by the Dems *and* his wife, is elder abuse.

      • kinthenorthwest Says:

Hey there area many democrats that I dislike a whole whole lot…but damn i just can never bring myself to wish them harm.
And yes I’d probably be the one giving them CPR is needed.

Marge, great collection of cartoons for this Friday, and I thank you for them. Great picks!

Sorry to be so late – it’s been a day. I had, in this order, a mammogram, arthrogram (injection of therapeutics and contrast dye into my hip joint), and an MRI. Yeah, it’s been tough but it all needed to be done, and I met some wonderful nurses and techs along the way, so all in all, it’s a win!

Sure I can’t really walk much or anything, and will have to miss tonight’s hockey match, but there’s always tomorrow (and I get to see our dreamy horse, too – bonus!). Ahahahahaha…

    • kenoshamarge Says:

My goodness they sure put you through the wringer! I know such things are necessary but they are no fun.

You and Lou should send each other sympathy cards since he’s going through much the same thing.

    • kinthenorthwest Says:

Wow Amy and you are typing even…
Dang sound like they ran you through the washer and dryer…I’m talking to old fashioned wringer washer..
      You take care lady…

Spokesperson’s claim that Biden was blown over by the wind debunked by the actual weather

It shows how little respect they have for the people of this country when they actually use such a preposterous excuse.
